Block logging from Northern BC
Block logging is the most integrated work we do. It pulls together planning and road-building, falling, harvest, hauling, and rehabilitation. Running it as a coordinated program keeps phase responsibilities clear; completion records and handoff requirements are agreed for the project.
BC block logging programs operate under the Forest and Range Practices Act, which sets requirements for road construction, riparian management, wildlife tree retention, and site rehabilitation. We review the requirements provided for the block and organize the work plan and records around the agreed scope.
Northern BC logging programs may include Indigenous-participation or community-benefit requirements. Our direct Tahltan and Nisga'a partnership is described on this site; any project-specific fit depends on the buyer's RFP and project structure.
