Accessibility Statement

Wild Timber Industries is committed to making wildtimber.ca accessible to everyone.

Last updated: April 26, 2026

Wild Timber Industries strives to make wildtimber.ca usable by people of all abilities and disabilities. We are working to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Our commitment

We are actively working to ensure that wildtimber.ca:

  • Can be navigated by keyboard alone, without a mouse.
  • Is compatible with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
  • Meets WCAG 2.1 AA colour contrast requirements for all text content.
  • Provides meaningful alternative text for all informative images.
  • Has a clear and consistent heading hierarchy on every page.
  • Includes a skip-to-main-content link on every page to allow keyboard users to bypass the navigation.
  • Uses properly labelled form fields with descriptive error messages announced to screen readers.

Known limitations

A full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance audit has not been completed. The site is reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis; if you encounter a barrier, please contact us so we can investigate it.

  • Conformance review: Automated checks and targeted manual reviews do not replace a complete audit across every device, browser, and assistive technology.
  • Browser variation: Visual effects and some layout behavior may vary by device, browser, or user settings.

Technical approach

wildtimber.ca is a static HTML/CSS/JavaScript website deployed via Vercel. We use semantic HTML5 elements, ARIA landmark roles, and aria-live regions for dynamic content. Keyboard and screen-reader compatibility remain part of the ongoing review.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on wildtimber.ca, or if you need information in an alternate format, please contact us. We will review accessibility feedback and respond as soon as practical.
